This is first music tracker for Symbian oriented phones.

This is still in beta version, so that's why some functions are not implemented (for example editing instruments), help is also not available,
player needs a lot of optimization, etc... It understands only FastTracker2 modules (*.xm) and instruments (*.xi).

Information regarding the development of MobiTracker:
When I started my work I realized that I do not have so much time as it was some time ago, even on weekends. MobiTracker development was stalled. however I'm looking for some people who would like to continue and port it to other platforms. Beware, the source code is really messy, not optimized... It was just a few days try during weekend to have something playable very fast, and it was one of my first touch with Symbians anyway. Unfortunately, my both Symbian devices died very badly, also they changed the specifications...
My idea about the source code is to first polish it, port to other platforms, and then release in the Sourceforge for example. The code is very dirty, even I was thinking to perform whole rewrite, heheh:) There were some ideas to incorporate in the future real-time "analog" generators, effects like echo, delay, etc (as for example it is with VSTs)... For sure I will not have time to do that soon, unfortunately now I'm very busy with my work. So if you have good ideas regarding this project and would like to play around with the source code, please contact me: mars@demon.pl


Known bugs:
- on symbian os 8.0 and higher devices (nokia 6630, n70) app is killing the main menu when moved to other folder than root
Message from Sami Ukkonen: "If someone else comes up with same problem with n70 than i had, my solution was: I re-installed the software in to the memorycards memory and used computers own memorycard-slot to manage cards memory. That was only way to find and delete the files, because they were in the hidden folders, so they could not be found with nokia's own pc-suite."
